What this looks like in our Chandler office
How a pediatric & kid-friendly visits visit actually runs at 10450 E Riggs Rd
Pediatric visits at our Chandler office run two paces: a knee-to-knee first visit for kids 1–3 (parent holds child, head rests in our lap, 20-minute count-and-look + fluoride varnish, no X-rays unless something specific shows on exam), and a standard cleaning-plus-exam for kids 4 and up (30–45 minutes total, low-dose digital bitewings on the standard cadence, fluoride and sealants where the molars warrant). Thursday 7 AM is the most-requested slot — in-and-out before first period at Hamilton, Basha, CTA, or any CUSD elementary — and the Tue/Wed 3:30–6 PM after-school block fills 2 weeks out. We stack siblings into one 60–90-minute appointment block (back-to-back operatories) so the whole family makes one trip to 10450 E Riggs Rd. Nitrous oxide is available for nervous kids and pairs well with fillings or extractions; we walk parents through it before the visit. Sport mouthguards (school football, club soccer, Pinnacle club hockey, travel teams) are scanned and made in-house. Insurance: we accept every major PPO in Arizona and verify the family's combined benefits before the visit so the EOB matches expectations.

Pediatric & Kid-Friendly Visits in Chandler — common questions
At what age should my child first see a dentist in Chandler? +
The general guidance is a first visit by age one, or within six months of the first tooth. At Natural Smiles Dentistry in Chandler we start regular kid visits from age two — early enough to catch problems and build a comfortable habit, low-pressure enough that it stays fun.
Is your Chandler office kid-friendly for nervous children? +
Yes. Dr. Suneeta Annamareddy keeps a quiet, no-lecture chair-side manner, and parents are welcome in the room. For especially anxious kids we offer nitrous oxide ("laughing gas") so the visit stays calm.
Do you offer fluoride and sealants for cavity prevention? +
We do. Fluoride treatments and dental sealants are two of the most effective ways to prevent cavities in kids, and both are quick, painless, and part of routine pediatric care at our Chandler / Sun Lakes office.
Can the whole family be seen in one appointment? +
Often, yes — we book families together when schedules allow, so you make one trip to 10450 E Riggs Rd instead of several. Thursday 7 AM slots are popular for kids who can't miss school.
Do you take my child's dental insurance? +
We accept most major PPO dental plans. Call or text 480-840-1101 with your plan details and we'll verify coverage before the visit so there are no surprises.
